Initiated by artist Marisa Morán Jahn (Studio REV-) in collaboration with the National Domestic Workers Alliance, the CareForce is a public art project that amplifies the voices of America's fastest growing workforce, caregivers. This overview documents the project's breadth - an app, silkscreen prints, music, dance, two mobile studios (CareForce One and The NannyVan), and an ITVS/PBS Digital film called 'The CareForce One Travelogues.'

CareForce One Travelogues

A humorous and touching road tale, the CAREFORCE ONE TRAVELOGUES features the artist Marisa Morán Jahn, her son Choco, and their buddy Anjum Asharia as they travel from their homes in NYC to Miami in a fifty-year old station wagon, the CareForce One. Marisa is on a quest to make us reimagine caregivers as superheroes. Meeting up with nannies, housekeepers, caregivers, and allies along this cross-country journey, this series explores how care intersects with some of today’s most pressing issues — immigration, the legacies of slavery, racial discrimination, and more.
